Thanks! And I FINALLY made my very first banner on Photoshop,thanks to your help. It's not that good though lol. Oh well. :]

Ahahaha, it's ok.
We all start from somewhere.
On the layers palette, there is a drop down list, it says Normal.
Click that & a whole bunch of blending modes will show up on a drop down list.
